I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms had amazing views and were well worth the price. They were incredibly roomy and had great facilities, making my stay very comfortable. The spacious layout easily accommodated my husband and me, my son and his partner, as well as my 2 granddaughters aged 1 and 3. Plus, the huge courtyard with direct access to the pool was such a bonus!

The service was exceptional! The staff showed their honesty by returning a gold bracelet left by one of our guests. They were incredibly helpful and made our stay very relaxing. They even suggested using the penthouse for our business meeting, setting it up perfectly.

The hotel is ideally situated on the shores of Lake Taupo, offering a luxurious and restful experience. It was so convenient with a short walk along the lakefront to cafes and a quick 20-minute walk to the center of Taupo. The proximity to the pool/lake walk was a highlight, and the name 'Sacred Waters' truly fits the tranquil setting.

The dining experience was fantastic! The variety was vast, and even after three days, we hadn't sampled everything. The quality of the meals, especially the fresh seasonal fruits, was top-notch.

My stay at Scared Waters had its ups and downs. The rooms were decent but not as luxurious as expected; however, booking the penthouse made a significant difference with private access to the pool and lake. The cleanliness could have been better. The staff were incredibly friendly and promptly resolved any issues we had. The location was convenient with direct lakefront access but may not accommodate larger vehicles. The dining experience was exceptional with a wide variety of dishes, albeit we couldn't try everything during our stay.
Rooms

The rooms didn't match the online depiction, with basic blue walls and furniture, lacking luxury. However, the penthouse upgrade was a major improvement, providing spacious, comfortable, and clean accommodations.
